Italy – Prime Retirement Destination
Italy has become a choice destination for people seeking a quieter life in their retirement. We’ve helped many Brits buy homes here. They make the move because of the many advantages – a calmer life, good diet and good weather. Then there are the financial advantages – in 2001 inheritance tax was abolished then in 2008 ICI (yearly property tax) was also abolished for those that have residency here. Add to this that you can get a beautiful, fully restored farmhouse with a millionaire’s view for the price of a 3 bed semi in the UK, it’s no wonder people are making the break and enjoying every moment of it. |
